What might look like:
I come in to lead product design on an on-going basis, and can be your first design hire or as a leader for your existing team. I live and breathe your product just like a full-time employee, but with the flexibility of fewer hours on a given week.

You need on-going support on multiple initiatives
You’re not quite ready to hire a design leader full time
You’re on a tight budget and want to make every hour of work count
Project-based
What might this look like:
I come in to own and lead a design project with a specific scope. We figure out a scope that makes sense and deliver it on time and on budget. We can discuss on-going engagement if needed, but there’s no pressure.
Why might this make sense:
You have a specific problem to solve or goal you want to achieve (eg. Research, Proof of Concept, Design Systems, or others)
You’re not sure if you’ll still need design support after this project
You’re not ready for a fractional engagement, and want to try out a project first
